New Delhi — The Government of India has launched three major Global AI Challenges under the upcoming India-AI Impact Summit 2026, inviting innovators, researchers, startups, and students from across the world to participate.

The total prize pool stands at ₹5.85 crore, aimed at encouraging the use of artificial intelligence to solve real-world social and economic challenges.

AI for All: Global Impact Challenge

The first initiative, AI for All, is open to students, startups, researchers, and companies working in fields like agriculture, healthcare, education, fintech, environment, and smart cities.
The top 10 winning teams will share ₹2.5 crore in prizes and receive mentorship, investor access, and travel support to attend the India-AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.

This challenge focuses on creating impact-driven AI solutions that can be implemented at scale, especially in developing regions.

AI by HER: Empowering Women in Innovation

The second program, AI by HER, exclusively targets women-led teams and entrepreneurs. It aims to boost women’s participation in AI research and leadership.
The challenge covers themes like digital wellbeing, cybersecurity, clean energy, health tech, and climate solutions.

Winners will share ₹2.5 crore, gain access to bootcamps, global mentorship, and connect with potential investors. The initiative supports India’s broader goal of inclusive and responsible AI innovation.

YUVAi: Global Youth Challenge

The third challenge, YUVAi, is designed for young innovators aged 13 to 21. Participants are encouraged to create AI projects that benefit society — from digital inclusion to sustainable agriculture.

The total prize money for YUVAi stands at ₹85 lakh, with top winners receiving individual prizes ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹15 lakh, along with special recognition awards and mentorship opportunities.

Applicants can register through the official portal, submit their AI solutions, and compete for a chance to present their innovations at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026.
