According to the announcement, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government will soon implement the “Rajasthan AI Policy 2025.”

The policy is built on three key pillars. First, special efforts will be made at the government level to adopt ethical and responsible artificial intelligence. Second, skill development and research will be promoted across the state. The third major pillar is the creation of a strong and comprehensive digital infrastructure.

Why is the govt bringing this Rajasthan AI Policy 2025?
This can be a revolutionary step of the Rajasthan government in the field of AI that under the national policy India AI Mission 2025, new opportunities are being explored to promote AI technology in the state. Along with this, in this process, emphasis will be given on providing information related to AI to the youth, training and the possibility of making a policy regarding AI in E governance as well.
The “AVGC-XR Policy 2024” released by the state government has laid solid groundwork for making Rajasthan a leader in creative fields such as animation, gaming, and visual effects. Additionally, the government has proposed the establishment of four Atal Innovation Studios and Accelerators at a cost of ₹1,000 crore.
Similarly, keeping in view the growing impact of information technology, the Rajasthan Data Centre Policy 2025 has been introduced to encourage the establishment of private sector data centres in the state. The aim of this policy is to develop a world-class data center ecosystem and establish Rajasthan as a prime destination in the data center sector.

The government is also considering preparing a Guideline at the state level regarding the possibilities of misuse of AI, in which crimes happening through deep fake, face swap and voice cloning can also be stopped.
